The thing that makes a good framer stand out from an average framer is the quality of the finished product, the materials used combined with the skills and care that make it something special. We prefer using FSC certified natural hardwoods and exotic woods and we hand pick the wood for our bespoke frames from specialist timber merchants, our suppliers of specialist woods are FSC certified, PEFC certified and members of the Timber Trade Federation, there is a line of traceability with the timber and these suppliers are regularly audited.

We care about the environmental impact of the materials we use, making sure that they are sourced from reputable suppliers and wherever possible are fully recyclable and from sustainable forests, this is why our preferred choice is for natural products like our solid wood frames and not for mouldings with plastic based laminates.
